BioFrankie: I'm a white-and-tabby shorthair boy kitty with a nose that gets pinker the naughtier I've been. I'm still trying to figure out how to control that so I don't get busted when Mommy and Daddy come racing in to see who did it and I'm sitting there with a purplish nose. I'm 6 years old now. I was rescued. I orchestrated the whole thing... before Mommy knew it, there I was!
favorite things: my purple stuffed fish that my Auntie Masako gave me, and corn on the cobb

Mags: I'm a short-hair tortoiseshell kitty (most of we torties are girls, and I'm no exception), and I'll be 11 years old in January 2006. I like to talk in real conversations with my Mommy and Daddy. Especially with my Daddy. I am on a special diet for kidney disease. My disease is in remission. I was also rescued.
favorite things: daddy, and pretzels

Yin-Yin: I'm also a girl kitty, black shorthair, and a reformed street kid. I like to get away with doing what I know I'm not supposed to do and going where I'm not supposed to go. I like to purr, but I don't like people to know I like it. I'm the same age as my brother Frankie. I also pretend i hate to be held, but I secretly love it. Like the others, I was rescued.
favorite things: chicken, laps, and B&E (breaking & entering) action

Roo: I'm 5, and I'm the littlest girl. I'm a smoke-and-cream Persian kitty with amber eyes. My job is to be unbearably cute so that Mommy and Daddy don't go nowheres. When my fur is grown out, it's hard for me to bathe because my neck doesn't stretch enough to get the fur off my tongue, so I get shaved about 4 times a year. I always get a lion cut. *roars* I was rescued.
favorite things: rice milk, and movies

Wylee: I'm a 4 or 5-year-old mostly Australian Cattle Dog, aka Blue Heeler. I'm a girl, too. Here is my rescue story: I was abandoned in the desert, then was picked up and taken to the Apache Junction pound, where I had a litter of coyote puppies and was almost put down because the people there said i was "ferel." But a wonderful lady from the Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue came and saved me from death, and within a month, I was tame again. Then, mommy and daddy came and adopted me.

Timber Pinkpants: Tweet! I am bird. I'm a boy, and I'm also an Aussie... an Australian Parakeet, a Rosy Bourke, to be specific. I'm 1.5 years old. Mommy and Daddy picked my name because sometimes after I preen I leave a vertical groove in the downy pink feathers on my front, and they said it looks like I'm wearing pink pants.
